Tim Smith

My name is Tim Smith and I’m a music loving freelance designer, blogger and tech geek. I’m currently working from and living in sunny Southern California.

I’m relatively young and having formal design classes as a base, I’m now putting those lessons to work as a freelance graphic designer. I’m always trying to learn new techniques, methods and technologies to be better at what I do. Improving those techniques means that attention to detail, even to the last pixel, has become a priority of mine. It’s often those small pieces that take a design from good to great.

Writing has also become a passion of mine; reason for which I write for various blogs and websites. Furthermore, I’m working on a my first novel. I’m so excited! I hope to be finished with it by the end of 2010. In the meantime, however, I will keep you posted with my progress.

About This Site

This site is a personal experiment. As I’ve said before, I’m always trying to learn new things. Having this site has pushed me to learn HTML, CSS, and some PHP. I by no means would say I’m an expert with these languages yet. However, I find myself mastering them more and more each day.

This site is also a place where I can place all my ramblings that don’t fit on any other site. Since it’s MY site, almost everything goes. I love to share the new happenings that are going on in my life.

Non-Work Info

I’m a die hard basketball fan. I play every Wednesday and Sunday. Although I like to watch basketball in general, I’m a huge fan of the NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers. I’m from Southern California so… is there any other team to watch (The Clippers don’t count. I don’t even think their games are even televised. Bahaha!)?
